Do you travel out of state?
Yes, we do. We try to stay with in our neighboring states.
Do you charge by the mile or by the job?
If the move is within a 25 mile radius, this this goes off a standard rate, if beyond that then we would charge by the mile.
Do you provide permits?
We provide all trucking permits required to transport the unit down the road. All moving permits would needed to be obtained from your local tax accessors office from where the unit is presently at now, and placement permits from local officials to where house is to be placed at.
Can we do some of the work ourself to save some money and cut costs of the move?
Yes, you can. By removing the skirting, decking, awings and carports, this could possibly save you 15% from the total cost of the move for your mobile home.
If there are no tires, axels, or hitches under our home, then what do we do?
No need to worry, we provide axels tires and hitches for all home moves. Most of the time there is no hardware; this is normal. We have a wide variety of hardware of axels and tires to custom fit all types of homes. We custom fit new or refurbish hitches, with certified welders to install them.
Can we move our home if it has been remodeled?
Generally, if there have been any modifications to your home, we usually install extra axels to carry the extra weight which occurred from the remodel of your home.
How long does it take to move a mobile home?
It depends on the size of the home, generally takes about a week for smaller homes, less time than larger homes.
Can there be furnishings left in the home while the home is in transport?
Yes, but this is limited. Please call our reps for details. If belongings are left in the unit, we cannot assume any responsible for damages to the interior of the home while in the relocation process, and a wavier will need to be discusses and signed before the move of the home.
Is there a down payment required for a mobile home move?
Yes, in most cases, we require 50% down from the total cost of the job. This provides funding for our crews to gather all materials such as axels, tires, hitches, materials needed to start your mobile home move process.
